For years Sam Moore was best known for his work with the stirring "soul" duo Sam & Dave. The rapid-fire style built on the call and response of gospel, fashioned by Sam Moore while the trademarkable voice of the duo, sent several songs climbing up both the Pop and R&B charts. Today, having earned his own legs, Sam Moore has tremendous love and respect for what he created when he was "the voice" of the duo. Sam Moore was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1992.
